Booking Confirmation and Deposit

Once you accept our proposal, you will receive a booking confirmation. To secure your reservation, a deposit must be made within seven days of receiving this confirmation.

Payment Terms

Once you accept our proposal, you will receive a booking confirmation. To secure your reservation, a deposit must be made within seven days of receiving this confirmation:

• Via Pesapal with your credit card. You will receive a link in your confirmation for payment via Pesapal.

Please state your name and the safari or tour you have booked.

The deposit, except for Fly Safaris, is 10 percent of the total cost. The full amount must be paid at least four weeks before your trip. For Fly Safaris, the full amount must be paid at once.

Who pays any transaction costs? You may choose how to handle transaction costs: either you cover 100% or split them 50/50.

We kindly ask you to send a copy of the transfer, as we only see the amount from the bank and not the names.

Canceling Your Trip (Except Fly Safaris)

You have the right to cancel your booked trip via email with a refund of the paid amount, except for the cancellation costs.

• If you have already paid the deposit: no refund of the booking and transaction costs.
• If you have paid the full amount and your departure is more than two weeks away, 30 percent of the total cost is non-refundable.
• If you have paid the full amount and your departure is less than two weeks away, the total cost is non-refundable.

If you cancel your trip less than two weeks before departure, the total cost is non-refundable.

Canceling Your Trip (Fly Safaris)

You have the right to cancel your booked trip via email with a refund of the paid amount, except for the cancellation costs.

• If you cancel your trip more than 7 days before departure, there will be no refund of the booking and transaction costs.
• If you cancel your trip less than 7 days before departure, 50 percent of the total cost is non-refundable.
• If you cancel your trip less than 24 hours before departure, the total cost is non-refundable.

Loss/Damage/Theft/Personal Injuries and Other Inconvenience

Netherken Safaris & Tours cannot be held responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of your personal belongings, nor can we be held accountable for personal injuries or death. We strongly advise obtaining travel insurance and cancellation insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances. Please be aware that your travel destination may differ significantly from your home country. For instance, the terrain may be challenging, the cuisine different from what you are accustomed to, and access to water, electricity, and internet may be limited. We encourage you to remain flexible to fully enjoy your holiday. Additionally, consult your local health authority regarding necessary vaccinations and ensure you carry proof of any vaccinations received.

Our Bids

All our bids clearly outline the inclusions in the price you pay for your trip, such as entrance fees, lunches, and excursions. However, please note that flight tickets, travel documents, and personal expenses are not included in your bid.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify your chosen accommodation. If your selected accommodation becomes unavailable due to a late booking, we will promptly provide you with an alternative option and inform you as soon as possible.

The driver may adjust the itinerary based on prevailing conditions and will inform you of any changes.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
